JOIN THE DFBG TEAM AND BECOME THE BEST VOLUNTEER IN THE WORLD! 💪🏔️

We are looking for volunteers who want to experience the unique atmosphere and excitement of a running event, learn what goes on behind the scenes of organizing a mountain running festival, and are ready to take on challenges with a smile 😊

The Lower Silesian Mountain Running Festival (DFBG) is a large-scale event that requires extensive preparation. The races will take place from 16–19 July 2026 in Lądek-Zdrój.

And this is where we need you – our Volunteers!

WHEN?

Volunteer support is needed starting from 13 July 2026.

Before applying, please consider:

how much time you can dedicate to the event,
which types of tasks interest you the most.

We will do our best to take your preferences into account when preparing volunteer schedules.

TWO APPLICATION FORMS

We have prepared two separate application forms, depending on how you would like to get involved:

For those who would like to assist with preparing and marking the race routes: Course Marking Team Form

Please complete the form that best matches your preferred role.

WHAT DO WE OFFER IN RETURN?

We guarantee plenty of excitement, an unforgettable sporting atmosphere, and a variety of tasks. In return, we provide:

a volunteer package with event souvenirs,
personal accident insurance,
accommodation in basic tourist-style conditions
(sleeping mat/air mattress and sleeping bag required),
meals, including:
- breakfast and dinner prepared individually from products provided,
- lunch served in the festival food zone,
reimbursement of travel expenses
(details available from the Volunteer Coordinator).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applications will be accepted until all volunteer positions are filled.

We also welcome participants who are already registered for one of the races. If you can arrive earlier or stay longer, you are welcome to combine volunteering with racing.

A confirmation of receipt of your application will be sent by email within two weeks.

In June, we will contact applicants to confirm their attendance, so please make sure to reserve this time in your schedule before submitting your application.
